Data privacy declaration

We value your trust, which is why we respect data privacy and wish to inform you – as required by law – about the nature, scope and purpose of data collection and utilisation.

Your personal data – if recorded at all – will only be documented, utilised and stored by us within the confines of the Federal Data Protection Act of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Data recording and processing
An automatic record is kept by the internet provider of every visit to a website and every retrieval of a file stored on a website. The stored information serves internal, system-related and statistical purposes. The following are recorded: name of the retrieved file, date and time of retrieval, volume of data transmitted, notification of successful retrieval, web browser and enquiring domain. In addition, the IP addresses of the enquiring computers are recorded. Further personal data are only documented if the visitor to the website and/or customer voluntarily provide any information, such as in the process of an enquiry or registration, completing a transaction, or via the browser settings.

Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a text file that is sent when visiting a website and is temporarily stored on the device of the website user and/or customer. If the user and/or customer contacts the server of our website again, the user's and/or customer's browser returns the previously received cookie to the server. The server can then analyse the information obtained through such a process in different ways. Cookies can be used to control advertising banners or ease navigation on a website, for instance. If the website user wishes to stop the use of cookies, he or she can do so by changing the browser settings locally.

Utilisation and disclosure of personal data
If the user of our website has provided us with personal data, we use such information only in order to answer enquiries made by the website user and/or customer, to complete transactions agreed with the user of the website and/or customer, and for the purposes of technical administration. We only pass on personal data to third parties or in other ways if this is necessary for completing a transaction or invoicing, or if the user of the website and/or customer has given prior consent. The user of the website and/or customer has the right to revoke any previously granted consent with future effect. Stored personal data are deleted if the user of the website and/or customer revokes consent to such storage, if they are no longer required for fulfilling the purpose for which they were stored, or if their storage is not permissible for other legal reasons. Data for invoicing and accounting purposes are not affected by a request for deletion.

Right to information, rectification, blocking and deletion
Upon written request, we will inform the user of the website and/or customer of the personal data that has been stored. In addition, he or she has the right, as defined by law, to request that personal data be rectified, blocked or deleted.

Such a request should be sent to the address provided on our website under Legal notice.
